Better Jobs Better Care
Better Jobs Better Care's goal is to achieve changes in long-term care policy and practice that help to reduce high vacancy and turnover rates among direct care staff across the spectrum of long-term care settings and contribute to improved workforce quality.

Program Promotes Healthy Work Environments for Nurses
The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses' Healthy Work Environment Initiative was developed to help nurses and their employers recognize the urgency and importance of working collaboratively to improve the environments in which nurses' work.

Quality Improvement Organizations Help Nursing Homes Implement Culture Change
QIOs are working on promoting organizational culture change with nursing homes in each state. This Web site provides a resource on culture change.

Paraprofessional Healthcare Institute
PHI works with providers, labor organizations, policymakers, educators, and consumers to foster an understanding of workforce issues and to develop solutions that will sustain a competent, caring, and stable direct-care workforce that can deliver quality services to long-term care consumers.

Wellspring
Wellspring's mission is to provide a leadership structure and process that other aging services providers can use to support ongoing clinical improvement and business opportunities.
