CMS Phone Briefing on Whistleblower Staff Education
On Jan. 11 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Eastern Time, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a briefing about new whistleblower protections that require employee education. As of Jan. 1, CMS requires healthcare providers who receive $5 million or more in Medicaid payments each year to provide their staff with written information about the whistleblower protections under the federal False Claim Act.
