Short Term Strategies
- Encourage membership to refer potential leaders to affilliate schools by developing human interest stories regarding preceptors and students to be included in AAHSA monthly Bulletins on a monthly basis.
- Encourage at least 15 - 20 outstanding mentors/preceptors from the AAHSA membership to provide graduate fellowship programs (17 already committed).
- Create or obtain guidelines and curricula for preceptors to follow to assist them in mentoring students.
- Have something at Annual Meeting recognition to link outstanding preceptors and students.
- Maintain information for students and preceptors on the AAHSA website.
