There is a national shortage of strong leaders to meet the challenges of providing high-quality services for the aging. To ensure that there are a sufficient number of new adults entering into the aging services administration profession, the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) formed the New Leaders Initiative. The purpose is to attract new, dynamic potential leaders into the aging services field to create our next generation of leaders.
