GAO report on Rental Subsidy Payment Problems - Nov 2005
Report to Congress on the causes for and recommended fixes to problems with HUD rental subsidy payments. While the report shows that fully 25% of properties are paid late, it does not sufficiently address the problems caused by extensive delays (of six weeks or more) - but it does catalogue the factors which cause this situation to occur and recur.
